Adroit Critical Care Physician- Neurosurgical patients pre and post-operatively require Critical care Medical management. Though he is ably assisted by a Critical Care team, Dr Sanyal is himself an expert at Critical Care Medical Management by virtue of the fact that he trained at a time when Critical care was a nascent specialty and a good Neurosurgeon was one who could take care of his patients till they recovered and went home. Dr Sanyal keeps himself abreast of relevant developments in Critical Care Medicine with the objective of ensuring that his patients recover fast and go home well. He does not believe in just operating and leaving post-operative care to other doctors.

Transparent Comprehensive cost estimate- Dr Sanyal believes that every family requires a realistic transparent total cost estimate. He thus always furnishes a total cost estimate in the form of a range inclusive of all hospital expenses. He does not leave it to hospital managers because he believes in direct communication and he believes that too many cooks spoil the broth.
Dr Sanyal’s s fees is more than most other top Indian Neurosurgeons because he believes that his capabilities and commitment to his patients genuinely merits a higher fee.

Communication- Dr Sanyal would be one of the few top Neurosurgeons in the world who shares his whats app number to all his operated patients so that they can contact him in case of any Neurosurgical emergencies. He believes that this boosts the confidence of his patients though they rarely need to contact him. Obviously, the number is not meant for frivolous use.
